BOX from AT&T
We worked on the brand new commercial for AT&T and the online collaboration platform that is BOX. This commercial tells the story of the Oru Kayak company in San Francisco, whose foldable kayak was designed, created, built, marketed and launched (literally!) using the BOX platform to organise, share and collaborate on every aspect of the project.
The live shoot was done in San Francisco, under fantastic weather conditions, by the AT&T team. Concept, shot direction and editing by Erin Cameron. Concept, design, creative direction, motion graphic design and animation by Steve Holmes, Energi.design.
Energi.design asked us to utilize our workflow to combine live action footage and 3D elements as well as motion graphics in their project. The goal was to deliver perfect 2D and 3D trackings, rotoscoped garbage masks and a match move 3D Kayak animation. Together with Robert Hranitzky we did all the motion tracking and rotoscoping.
